Living faithfully in metropolitan Chicago means helping where help is needed. Ministries supported by the North Shore United Methodist Church include, but are not limited to, Rogers Park Soup Kitchen, ChildServ, World AIDS Day, Africa University, UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), Open Hand, and the Interfaith Housing Council.Part of our community is to open doors and share our building with local groups. The church is currently home to the Offices of Congregation Hakafa and Rabbi Bruce Elder, New Trier Extension Classes, and Boy Scout Troop #24.

Needed:
ü pre-school and elementary books for children 2 – 12
years of age. ü Reference books and story books with realistic illustrations

The pallets are shipping out mid April we need to move relatively quickly to get this project completed by then.
If anyone would like to arrange a time for their women's groups or youth groups to come and sort and pack books for an hour or two, let us know as soon as possible sharonn@robertsonlowstuter.com
